It deals with favourite Old Testament stories in a faithful way, but often reports them from a new perspective, seeking to show the reader the amazing nature and power of our God. Bible references are provided, and the Gospel is clearly explained after the account of The Fall. All the conventions of magazine writing have been well employed, including pithy headlines, fact-files, problem pages, editorials and news flashes. The three illustrators have really hit the mark with pictures, photos and cartoons, which are often very amusing. The children I tried this book with couldn't put it down. Mary Stolarski,
