I found this book thought-provoking and easy to read. It catalogues Jessie McFarlane's early, married and family life in Glasgow.

Prayer Chain Ministries, a women's telephone prayer system, was born out of a desire to see Britain's falling moral standards in the 1980s checked. In her capacity as co-ordinator, Jessie was invited to go abroad.

She describes useful insights into prayer and concludes that prayer is a dying discipline - a salutary note.
